A family-run studio in its second generation. MAssimo and Dino Giannetti began their education in jewellery design and goldsmithing from their father, Tullio Giannetti.

At the age of 13, Dino Giannetti began hand-engraving in the families besement studio. His talent for molding precious metal became evident soon after, marking the beginning of an intensive apprenticeship under Master Italian goldsmith Armando Reggeri.

As the man with the "golden hands", Dino has created one-of -a-kind gems that have stood out for their innovative design and his precision craftsmanship.

As the age of 21, Dino and Massino set out on their own and opened 18Karat in Toronto's downtown core. 18Karat has now entered is 40th years and continues to use rare and unusual gems to create custom pieces that last a lifetime.
