The historic building itself stands at 17 Leader Lane in a structure constructed in the early 1830s when this narrow alley was known as Berezy Street in Old York Towne. Among its 19th century, neighbours were various innkeepers on Church Street and the first Grand and Toy store, established in 1882 by James Grand and Samuel Toy.
Approaching the historic building with its distinctive hand carved oak entranceway, you enter into an intimate, elegant setting with soft lighting from gas burning chandeliers, leaded glass windows and high oak panelling - a combination of extraordinary charm
and relaxation. The environment sets the mood for meaningful conversation and romantic interludes. After four decades, has perfected its warm, inviting and hospitable atmosphere.

Photo prints of Toronto scenes from the late 1800s adorn the walls of the beautiful Conclave Room. A wood-burning fireplace sheds a warm glow over the bar of green marble and mahogany. The polished boardroom table, inlaid with bark walnut can seat up to 20 for dinner.
