Buyingblock.com was created to make the home buying process much simpler and less expensive. Like many of our friends, we found the process frustrating and tiring. Rather than popping the champagne bottle when we moved in, we fell asleep on the sofa from exhaustion. Then, as a group of new homeowners, we informally discussed how we'd change it for others. We narrowed it down to the three most annoying areas: securing reputable providers from lawyers to inspectors, negotiating competitive prices/rates for each of the services and ensuring accountability.
