Mel Lastman Square

Each year the City of Toronto organizes a free party in Mel Lastman Square. With performances by leading Canadian musicians and fireworks choreographed to music, it’s a great way to celebrate our Canadian heritage.
How to get there: Public transit is the easiest way to get around. The Queen subway station, Osgoode subway station, Queen Street streetcar and Bay street bus are all nearby.
Where to stay: Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
Where to eat: Milestone's (Empress Walk location), McDonald’s.
Time: 8pm

Harbourfront Centre
235 Queens Quay W.
Bring the family to Harbourfront Centre and celebrate Canada day at one of the city’s biggest parties. Activities include theatre, live music, film, international food, shopping and lots of fun—and free—stuff for the kids. It’s a great place to bring the whole family, and offers a fantastic view of the fireworks.
How to get there: Union Station is the closest public transit stop.
Where to stay: Fairmont Royal York, Novotel Toronto Center.
Where to eat: 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower, Crocodile Rock.

Casa Loma

If you’re looking for something really different this Canada Day, why not join the Renaissance Festival at Casa Loma—Toronto’s very own castle. With knights, kinds, magicians, music and theatre, this Canada Day will certainly be one to remember!  Admission ranges from $16 for adults to $8.75 for children.
How to get there: Drive to the castle, which is just off Spadina Avenue near Davenport, or take the subway to the Dupont Station and walk two blocks north.
Where to stay: Castlegate Inn, Hotel Inter-Continental Toronto.
Where to eat: Sopra Upper Lounge, Real Thailand Restaurant.

Canada's Wonderland

What better way to celebrate Canada Day than with a full day of thrill rides, cartoon characters and fun! Canada’s largest amusement park offers entertainment for the whole family. With more than 60 rides, 20 acres of water  park, the greatest variety of roller coasters in North America and fireworks to mark the day, Wonderland is a great place to spend Canada Day.
How to get there: Canada's Wonderland is located just minutes north of Toronto off Highway 400, just 10 minutes north of Highway 401. Wonderland Express "GO" Buses run regularly from Yorkdale and York Mills subway stations.
Where to stay: Delta Chelsea, Best Western Toronto Airport West.
Where to eat: Many restaurants within the park.
