The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) began as an agricultural fair in 1878 and has now grown into Canada's largest annual summertime party. This summertime party has everything a person could ask for. It has Midway rides, games and carnival-like festivities. On the local grounds there is an annual automotive show, a casino, a food building, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, the Medieval Times Dinner Theatre and the Grandstand.
The Grandstand is a music amphitheatre that has seen and heard the music of the Rolling Stones and shared the laughs of wartime Bob Hope. This is one summer festivity you don't want to miss.
