The Royal Ontario Museum is a must-see museum in Toronto. While offering up to six million objects for viewing pleasure, this museum inspires learning in people of all ages with a wide range of diverse collections of world cultures and natural history. For the first time ever the Royal Ontario Museum will be putting all their major collections on permanent display. Not only is the Royal Ontario Musueum a place of wonderful exhibits but also a place for comfortable gatherings, first-rate restaurants, fine retail shops and even unique spaces for special events. The ROM is also distinguished as Canada's premier venue for events and parties, whether it be for a party of ten or a reception of 2,000. The Museum also requires a check of all backpacks, large bags, and packages as well as a coat check line.

Royal Ontario Museum Hours

Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 9:30 pm
Saturday to Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Royal Ontario Museum Location & Parking

The new Loblaws Entrance, named in recognition of a major gift from Loblaw Companies Limited is located at the south end of the building. The parking lot at 9 Bedford Road has four accessible parking spots location on Level B1 with an elevator providing street level access.

Royal Ontario Museum Freebies

Beginning Friday, September 15, 2006, nominal value-added admission rates go into effect for ROM Friday Nights. From 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the ROM will offer visitors more to experience at the Museum, including all permanent galleries and special exhibitions. Admission remains free one hour prior to closing.
