Three nights of concerts will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre during the Grey Cup Festival. For a low price of only $99, fans can purchase a pass to all three nights during a one day sale on Saturday, September 15.

Thursday, November 22 – The Grey Cup Classic ($35 at Ticketmaster)

  • Loverboy,
  • April Wine,
  • Trooper
  • David Wilcox w/ CFL Cheerleaders

Just announced, the classic rock line-up for Thursday night will kick things off with a bang! Hosted by the CFL cheerleaders, this night will feature headliners Loverboy, as well as Canadian icons April Wine, Trooper and David Wilcox. Driven by the powerful vocals of Mike Reno, Loverboy quickly became one of the popular rock bands of the 1980s, garnering four multi-platinum albums. Hit singles came one after another and went on to become the anthems and party songs of an entire generation of rock fans. Few bands transcend generations of music lovers like Canadian classic rock stars April Wine. In their 37th year, with fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts, April Wine continue to capture the hearts of all ages with their eclectic mix of rock ‘n roll and soft ballads. Two million records sold, several dozen hits, sold-out coliseums across Canada, and a Juno Award as Band of the Year sums up the tremendous success of Canadian rock legends, Trooper. Incredibly, more than one out of every forty Canadians owns a copy of Trooper's six-times Platinum album, Hot Shots, and will no doubt “Raise a Little Hell” at this year’s Grey Cup. David Wilcox is a brilliant songwriter, a great singer, and one of the hottest guitar players in the world. He has made a name for himself as a wild showman and continues to make honest, original, electric roots music. After more than twenty years in the business and five gold albums under his belt, it's no stretch to say that David Wilcox has earned his icon status.

Friday, November 23 – The Trailer Park Bash w/ Julian, Ricky & Bubbles ($53 at Ticketmaster)

  • Trailer Park Boys w/ Hinder & Thornley

Sunnyvale’s own Trailer Park Boys – Ricky, Julian and Bubbles – will stock up on rum and cigarettes before hosting the second of three Molson Canadian Party Series events, The Trailer Park Bash at The Sirius Satellite Radio Main Stage. Originally created as a low budget mocumentary, Trailer Park Boys has exploded into a flagship programme for Showcase and an international sensation. Their fame carried onto the big screen in 2006 when the opening weekend of Trailer Park Boys: The Movie became the highest-grossing ever for an English-language Canadian film. The night will feature blazing Oklahoma City exports Hinder, who are currently making good on their mission to deliver straight-up rock & roll to music fans around the world. Hinder's debut album Extreme Behavior is Platinum in Canada and the U.S. and has spawned four radio hits including the number one single “Lips of an Angel.” That track has set a record for most Ringtones sold in a single week by a Universal rock act and hit #1 on the iTunes Canada Singles chart. Just added to the bill is Canadian rockers Thornley. Assembled by Toronto-born singer and songwriter Ian Thornley, formerly of Big Wreck fame, Thornley fields a line-up of expert musicians who have come together to create one of the most extraordinary sounds in Canadian music. Their gold-selling debut album, Come Again, soared up the charts in 2004 as they toured all of North America and parts of Europe. More great bands are expected to be added shortly.

Attention football fans and autograph collectors! More than 35 CFL alumni have been confirmed for the Grey Cup Festival’s Webber Naturals Legends Luncheon. As one of Canada’s most popular bands, Great Big Sea blends genuine rock music with a traditional east coast sound in their legendary, crowd moving live shows. A coast-to-coast party in their own right, their members hail from west to east (B.C., Alberta and Quebec). Emerson Drive was named Billboard Music’s #1 Country Artist of the Year in 2002. Last week, Emerson Drive was the recipients of three Canadian Country Music Awards.

Tickets for the entire Party Series are available for one day only for $99 at Ticketmaster at (416) 872-5000 or at www.ticketmaster.ca. Individual tickets for each night of the Molson Canadian Party Series will be put on-sale on September 15 at Ticketmaster.
